Army of Islam and Jabhat al Nusrah working together to capture Marj al Sultan airbase, eastern Ghouta, Syria

Both the Army of Islam and Jabhat al Nusrah (al Qaeda in Syria) appear to be working together to re-capture the Marj al Sultan airbase in eastern Ghouta after it was allegedly re-captured by the Syrian Arab Army on the 14 December 2015.

Official videos and tweets released on the 15, 17, 18 and 19 December 2015 show assaults on the airbase by both groups which began soon after the Syrian Arab Army allegedly re-captured the airbase.
